Something More Than Faith
Those who refuse
to know --
whether from arrogance
or great suffering --
to unshutter
that portion of the heart
that sees beyond
the mind
more than random genius
in a moon-swept
frigid field -- waiting
in perfect patience
at the top
of winter’s mountain,
lose so much blood
from this life –
assuming it’s made
more bearable.

A beautiful reminder to not shelter but be vulnerable. Thanks
